ITSS Technology Training Services has provided classroom training on software applications and technology information sessions to the Stanford community for over ten years. Here's a quick overview of different types of training they are offering this quarter:
A Thousand Online Courses for the Price of One
In collaboration with SkillSoft, a leader in online technology training, ITSS offers access to over 1,000 quality, self-paced, online courses at all skill levels.
TechPort is available 24/7 from any Windows-based computer; it requires a SUNet ID.
You can try out a sample course unit and browse through the list of course titles before registering. Access through August 31, 2005 costs only $125. You can use STAP, department, or personal funds.
Training by Appointment - Just for You
This popular, one-on-one, customized training is tailored to your specific needs. Select from training on many computer applications and learn using your own documents, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, web pages, etc. The sessions can be taught in our special TBA lab or at your location for no additional charge.
