Using the Hoover Library After Regular Hours

Web View | Print View

by Jean Dickinson

The Hoover Institution Library is open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and some of its materials may be checked out. Much of the collection is non-circulating, so patrons may only use the books in the library during its stated hours. However, researchers whose hours won't fit into the 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. time slot can access the library's materials.

If you would like to use non-circulating materials from the Hoover Library outside of its regular hours, email, call or visit the library's reference librarians, Molly Molloy, or Linda Wheeler, at 723-2058, by noon on Friday to arrange for Saturday use. Then, your books will be temporarily transferred to the Hoover Archives, next door, which is open on most Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., by appointment, where you will be able to continue your research. See the Hoover Archives web page for the open hours for specific Saturdays.
