Just type the word "software" in your browser and you'll arrive at the Software at Stanford site.
When you type in the name of the software you want, you will get information about where at Stanford the software is available for download, purchase, or use. You will also get information about which systems the software runs on as well as a link to the manufacturer for more detailed information.
The site includes a "browse" feature that lets you scan a list of all the software currently included in the Software at Stanford site, as well as advanced search features that allow you to refine your search to improve the value of your search result. You can look for software based on whether you want to use it or acquire it, by campus source (e.g., IT Services, Stanford Bookstore), or by the manufacturer.
