The Spring Quarter Scholars' Workshops, which are open to anyone in the Stanford community, cover a variety of topics such as: Using GIS in social science research; Grokker, a research tool that allows searching Socrates, selected databases, and the Web simultaneously; and streaming audio services. All workshops are held in the SSRC Multimedia Room, room 121A, which is located in the Social Sciences Resource Center on the first floor of the Bing Wing of Green Library. No registration is required.
