Stanford Online Accessibility Program (SOAP) Website Goes Live
by Claudia Engel
The Stanford Online Accessibility Program (SOAP) was established to raise awareness and provide guidance in the design of universally accessible online material to the Stanford community. John Foliot, Academic Technology Consultant for Web Accessibility, has been working on spreading the word about online accessibility and recently released the SOAP Web site as a key component of his effort.
Content creators and Web developers seeking to ensure accessible Web content and compliance to accessibility guidelines and mandated policies will find a number of resource materials outlining best practices and development guidelines. The developers' toolbox provides a variety of tools that all content creators can employ as they create and publish online material. We encourage you to use this new resource and to take advantage of the services provided by this program. The Web site is at:
